About
The U.C.C. was drafted by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. It governs commercial transactions (sales of goods, commercial paper, bank deposits and collections, letters of credit, bulk transfers, warehouse receipts, bills of lading, investments securities, and secured transactions). The U.C.C. has been adopted, with various modifications, by every state.
To see a statutory U.C.C., the researcher should look at the statutes of a particular state.
To see the model U.C.C., the researcher should look in Uniform Laws Annotated (REF KF 165 .A5 U55), volumes 1-5.
