Securities Law  

Securities are stocks, bonds, notes, convertible debentures, warrants, or other documents that represent a share in a company or a debt owed by a company. Federal securities law basically consists of seven statutes, the rules and other statements of general applicability issued by the Securities Exchange Commission, and reports of decided cases.
