Introduction to Health Law
Health law is business and regulatory law for healthcare providers, third party payors, and other people and entities working within the healthcare field. Health law is comprised of federal and state statutes, regulations, case law, and executive orders. State and federal agencies are heavily involved in health law regulations. Health law incorporates other areas of law including administrative, taxation, insurance, contracts, torts, etc. For further research in those areas, please refer to our other subject specific libguides.
This guide will help researchers navigate through health law resources available at the University of Kansas Wheat Law Library as well as public Internet resources. While several resources are available to the public, some are only available to KU law students, professors, and staff or for a subscription fee.
