Introduction

This guide is based on one prepared by Legal Information Service to the Public (LISP), a special interest section of the American Association of Law Libraries. It is intended to help a person find laws, case materials, legislation, and other legal materials that help resolve an issue, prevent a conflict, or generally educate.

The Wheat Law Library is a research facility, and its materials are the indispensable tools of the legal profession. Many are of a reference nature and do not circulate. Any person desiring to use law books and other legal materials may do so in the law library.

Reference Assistance
Reference help is available any time the library is open. You can also reach the Reference Desk by email or telephone at 785.864.9250.

Copying/printing
Copying and printing are available at the 2nd and 3rd floor MFDs (multi-function devices).  KU-affiliates will pay via their KU ID accounts; persons not affiliated with KU will need to purchase a printing/copying login at the Circulation Desk.
